Tuesday 27 October Print Competition: Theme Open

This evening we welcomed Emma Hall to judge our first print competition of the season.

As the theme was open it gave members the opportunity to choose their own genre and we were presented with quite a variety. Ranging from nature, scapes,  architecture and many others. It also gave members the opportunity to show their creativity. Emma explained that she would be looking for style, composition, storyline and the mount. She stressed the importance of the mount, and how it can enhance an image and also give depth to it. She held back 9 images in the advanced group.

Here are the top scoring images.
