Wayland & District Photographic Club - Great News

GREAT NEWS....

Due to our continued popularity, Wayland & District Photographic Club ( WDPC Norfolk ) are pleased to announce that we will be expanding our photographic camera club meetings to three Tuesdays per month from this September.

This extra meeting was unanimously approved by the Committee for the benefit of all Club Members.

Whilst we welcome visitors to any of our meetings, we can only offer the tutorials without additional charge, to fully paid-up members.  If you come as a visitor to a tutorial evening there will have to be a charge, or you can join the Club on the night and attend for the normal small attendance fee of just £2.

Our aim has always been to freely share our knowledge and this extra Tuesday gives us the opportunity to offer FREE training sessions, to full members. Starting with Photoshop Elements over four months, there will be many other training topics to follow.

So if you’re looking to join a local, friendly, Norfolk Camera Club, we are more than happy for you to come along and meet us at Wells Cole Community Centre, Saham Toney, Watton, Norfolk.

Great to see in the Tuesday EDP that one of our number from Wayland & District Photographic Club, was a finalist in the EDP Pensthorpe NatureWatch Photographer of the Year competition, with his much admired and praised by all the judges entry, ‘Chaffinch’.
Member Bill Pound is to be congratulated on reaching the final 5 with the judges saying ‘To get the stunning colourful image of a Chaffinch in flight, Bill, from Dereham, spent over two hours waiting for his opportunity in the woodland hide at Pensthorpe’.
Well done Bill, we are all proud of you.
