Tuesday 12th April – "East Anglian Wildlife " by Liz Cutting

It was a delight to welcome Liz Cutting to WDPC having postponed her talk from two years ago due to the pandemic. It was certainly well worth the wait.

Liz started off by claiming that she was no expert photographer or naturalist and then proceeded to show us some stunning images which clearly disproved her introductory comment. Her knowledge of wildlife was excellent and even more encouraging was the fact that most, if not all of her images, had been taken within about a 60 mile radius of her Suffolk home, many in the garden.

Her images included shots of birds, mammals, dragonflies and butterflies all with suitably diffuse backgrounds  and in her talk Liz included some hints and tips of how to capture some images.

A very inspirational talk and many positive comments from members. Thank you Liz for coming to present to WDPC.
