Sunday 2nd February - Day trip to Cambridge
I don’t know how we do it but we struck lucky with the weather once again. Cambridge looked absolutely magnificent in the winter sunshine and 24 of us (including 2 very welcome day members) enjoyed a fantastic day’s photography. The sun was so bright it actually made conditions quite tricky but hopefully everyone managed to grab some interesting images.
22 of us descended on The Mitre pub without any pre-booking and they did us proud providing us with excellent Sunday roasts and various other delicious lunches.
This was our first club trip were we hired a coach and judging by the excellent, good value service offered by Salec Travel, I can envisage that it won’t be our last.
